incredible colors and light. The blue goes so well with the soft glow of the rocks, and you captured the water quite well, although i think the shot would have been even better on a longer exposure, to completely smooth the water.
Cheers :)

Yeh, I see what you mean. That day was my first day shooting long exposure water shots... was still experimenting at that stage. I'm hoping to go back there some time soon and maybe re-take similar shots.

Thanks for the comments :)

Nerver to late to say that that exposition gives a wonderful and powerful movement to the water.

Very nice composition of this scene. I love the dynamic feeling from the blur of the water, and the lighting on the foreground rocks is beautiful.

Amazing pic! I heart Australia :D...

Dumb question: how do you get the camera info (i.e. camera make, focal length, ISO, etc.) to appear below the deviation? I have the same camera, but can't figure that out...thanks!

Yeh I used to have this problem. Basically if you're going to be 'framing' your shots using Photoshop, you will have to expand the canvas size and do everything to the ORIGINAL image.

If you drag the photo to another canvas, or copy/paste it - you lose the EXIF data. Hope this helps...

I actually prefer the second one, 'aqua planet', the synthesis of the subjects. I don't think the sun really fits with this. But plenty of other people liked it more, so you have nothing to worry about :D 11 favs.. wow. Nice shot anyway ;)

Was taken at a local beach believe it or not. I can't give away the exact location, but it's between Cottesloe and Hillary's :P

Not only one beach either... there's quite a few along the way :)
